Duplicolor Chrome paint

Hey all,
I had seen a review of this paint in the 356 Registry magazine
and thought I would pass on my experience with it also. I
use it to paint the handbrake lever on my Austin Healey 3000
and was very pleased with the results. No, it is not chrome but closest thing I've seen in a rattle can. Sure beat the
devil out of taking the handbrake assembly apart, etc and
looks very nice. Just make sure you get whatever it is
you are painting prepped good and I used a light gray primer
although the article might have even recommended a white
primer. Not a bad alternative for $6.99.
Regards,
Mike

Not really duplicolor, but along those lines - one of our Cessna club members did something similar with his spinner. Prime, Black, then "chrome effect". I've seen deeper chrome-effect, but it looks pretty good. Look here, scroll down about 3/4 of the way.

I've used Alclad II chrome paint as well (for models) with excellent results.
