Dunlopillo seat foams

I heard somewhere that the original type seat foams are being reproduced, anyone know more about this?

There are a few sources for polyurethane foam but I really like the old car smell of the original materials.

Andy.

I would like to know this too, as I did my seats a year or so ago with the garden variety seat foams (Moss sourced) and would prefer the more rubbery original types.

I even went so far as to "relieve" the base foams (with a holesaws) but I still feel I'm sitting on top of the seat, rather than in it.

Keep us posted, if you turn up anything; I don't mind redoing my seats (I considered that project__using vinyl vs leather__as my"starter" seats  ).

can any one let me know where this went? can we get proper foams now or do we continue with hole cutting ect. why could they make them 50 yrs ago and now struggle thought I would ask before I buy a set thanks in advance for any help chris

For anyone out there who plans on refoaming your seats, a little tip! Wrap your new foams in cellophane..then they will slide in the seat covers with ease! Makes things a whole lot easier!
