Another $ 500.00 junker to fix up. Good body, very little rust. Engine needs a valve job. Doesn't run bad though. Another Weber set up. Just what I need, another Weber down draft for the pile. This is where I found it after they bush hogged the field down. Don't know for sure what I'm going to do with it yet.

That looks like a great starting point.
 
I had it running long enough to bring it up to temp and it has a slight hiss in the exhaust. I'm assuming its a burnt valve. So the head needs reworking. Oil pressure is about 55 lbs, assuming the gage is right. Tranny seems ok. It works in all the gears. How well??? Who knows. No brakes, that figures. Main thing is, the body appears to be in very good shape, as far as rust goes. Drivers door shot. I think they hit it with the bush hog while mowing the field and it's not only bent but twisted also, along with the right rear quarter panel. It will set for a while as I have no interest to work on a rubber bumper car right now. Later maybe.Maybe.
 
but yer in South Carolina... you can convert that puppy to chrome bumpers, pull out all that emissions stuff, and change it over to proper dual SUs. Of course, I'm assuming you guys don't have emissions laws in place to prevent you from doing that to a RB B. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif
 
Too bad I wern't closer. Other than the TD I'd really like a soft top.
