I just shipped out my 71 MGB GT from Guam and i am going to drive it to houston hopefully starting tomorrow. I picked it up from the port of long beach on thursday and drove it down to San Diego, to leave it with a relative. Here is a pic of the car after i drove it down to San Diego. It has a few bugs i need to work out since it has been sitting for the last 5 years but hopefully i will make it. Anybody know of any shops in San diego to get a few things done before i leave. I dont have a place to work on it there? I just found this forum today, its great i am glad it is here.

I am a member of the San Diego MG Club. While I haven’t used these folks before – one local outfit “British Automotive Repair” keeps coming up as a reputable source for servicing.

You can reach them at the following:

Good Luck
