Passed a Bitter! Have never seen one on the road before. Think it was an SC - no time for a pic.

OK, OK, my heart rate returned to normal; 401 describes a road, not a model of Bristol...:cower:

What little I know, is the 1970's "CD" car, the one with the V8, was always a fastback, and the 1980's "SC" was always a notchback, if that helps (and unless I'm wrong, which is always possible). Regardless, nice sighting.

Yes a highway not a Bristol - and it was a fastback so CD?

Certainly sounds like it. I don't know if any of those were ever officially imported (well, to the US I don't know about CA). We had a Bitter dealer somewhere around here in the D.C. area and I'd see SC's from time to time. Never a CD. Um, I have a 1/43rd one in my display case.:single_eye:

I prefer my Bitters in pint glasses

I came here for Bristol:
