An interesting load, but you think that's big?

Check out this load, photos that were sent to me via a friend a few years ago of a coker enroute to Fort McMurray in the Alberta Oil Sands... Look at the size of the trucks...

An article about this load - https://www.etrucker.com/apps/news/articleata.asp?id=46063

Ain't no truck big enough to move this thing. Fortunately, it can drive its self to get to the next coal mine.

Some of the new blades are over 88 feet long ea! Hooked up on a generator/alternator, that's quite a big fan. Don't look that big at a distance. A fellow I know has a couple units on the family farm in Idaho. PJ

I moved away from the T.O. area in 2000, but that brought back memories of the good ol' 401. Is it still the busiest highway in North America?

while working for an oil company in syberia i witnessed the ocean going arrival and delivery of a steam module that would heat the frozen earth in order to extract crude oil, the unit was just under 1/2 million pounds, as part of my job i was asked to contact the shipping company that did this and get estimates for shipping an entire pipeline, i learned the outfit that handled the module had just bought an entire aircraft museum lock stock and barrel including the aircraft and delivered it as a turn key operation to indonesia, i set up a meeting with the two filipina ladys that owned and operated the shipping company on may 11-1991, on may 12-1991 i received a phone call from one of the lady owners wishing me a happy birthday, in june 1992 i married her... dont listen to the experts...heavy lifting can be very good for you!,
