Driver's door lock cylinder

My driver's door lock cylinder keeps self-locking every 4 or 5 times I close the door. Not a problem really, just annoying.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Bob

Just a WAG... If the lock works like the 6 (meaning that when you push the inner handle forward it locks the door); is it possible that when you exit the car and release the handle it is sprung forward and possibly locking the door?
As I said... just a WAG!

So I started looking into this yesterday. I noticed the passenger lock cylinder was very light to turn and snapped back, almost as if it was spring loaded. My driver side was definitely not this loose. So, I shot a little carb cleaner in the cylinder, worked it around, shot it out with compressed air, wiped it up and all is well.

It turns nice and light like the passenger side and it does not lock itself any more
