A while back I bought one of those "grab bag" auctions you see on Ebay: I was only interested in the air cleaner canisters, and it was a good deal just for them.
Today I was sorting through the other stuff I got. You know the sort of thing: rusty old light fixtures, pitted chrome handles, used plug wires, bust speedo cables et cetera.
However, there was one very nice looking piece of formed hose, new and unused. It's stamped with "FSP 3348552" and is a couple of feet long, about an inch in diameter, with clip fittings at both ends.
A Google search reveals that it seems to be a pump to drain hose for a Kenmore washing machine!
My question is: what was it doing in a grab bag of MGB parts? Answers on a postcard ....
