Drag race

During the India-Pakistan War in the early 70's, I had the opportunity to witness a pair of F4s on hot alert standby, launch from the USS Enterprise on an intercept mission. Almost immediately upon leaving the flight deck, they disappeared into the cloud cover. Much like what that video showed, a very impressive sight to see.

Oh, the unidentified boggie turned out to be an Australian Airliner. I can only imagine what the passengers and flight crew thought when those two fighters dropped down beside them.

Does anyone else remember second grade recess, standing around with your best friends arguing over which would win a race, a Bugatti Veyron or a Eurofighter Typhoon? (Okay, maybe not those exact vehicles, but we all remember the arguments...) Isn't it good to know that there are some kids who grew up to become wealthy enough to actually find out?

Hey what's the dealer sticker on a Eurofighter Typhoon...last I thought they were only available through the black market....good thing is never having to worry about being pulled over...at least by a HYPO!!!
