Down For The Count...

Oh boy oh boy, can't wait. Now I am wound up for sure.

Tony:

Glad to hear you are doing better. I had a fire escape (city, sliding type) fall on my foot a year a half ago. So I know exactly what you are going through. Spent a week on the couch having people bring me things and to walk the dogs. It took about a month umtil I was 90% mobile.

You know what realy hurt - driving! finally started using left foot for brakes & cruise control whenever I could!

yikes... yup... that first jab at the pedals is a shocker...

I mentioned before I broke my right foot at 18. I learned rather wuickly to use my left foot for everything. Fortunately, I didn't have to drive any manual transmission cars during that time. That would have been some trick. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif The day I got out of the hospital with my broken foot, I was climbing a flight of stairs and lost balance, and instinctively put my foot down to catch mystelf. Needless to say, the broken foot rebelled on me and let me finish falling into the banister...

Sorry no milk here, the bottom of my foot was a big hardened puss ball across half of it for four months, no Doc involved, because I have broken to many bones and had no insurance (working construction then).

Lucky I even had it, 500lbs+ 5ft drop, priceless. With the inertia behind it, hmmm.

Before, I had fractured my back (L3)and was at work the next day. Wanna talk injuries and a trooper, I think not my friend, both knees, etc. I predict weather better than the Doppler, x000's.

Tony, take it slow and keep it up and off the foot as much as you can, let it heal for another week IMHO.

The first few are very critical.

Patrick

PS PICS of AGATHA! PLEASE!

Patrick - I know what you mean! Its swollen more than this morninig & the sole has turned a little more blue...probably pushed too far too soon!

Take it easy my friend for one more week, our thought are there for you.
