Both great cars. We have had 2 Boxsters in the family over the years.(1999 & 2006) Owned the 1999 for 7 years and needed nothing besides scheduled maintenance. Sold it, owned another make for a year which didn't do the trick, so we sold it and bought a 2006 w/ 6K miles. Love the exhaust note at around 5000-5500 RPM. Not quite a TR6 but nice! You are a lucky man!
