It is installed so its welded to the top edge of the rocker, inside the bent lip that extends to the rear, and of course the latch plate. There isn't much clearance when the fender is installed , so not any room for error. Don't weld it in place until you have the outer panels where you want or you are in danger of the dogleg of the rear fender not fitting over the outside of it. Kevin

Okay, now I'm thinking it was the ones that are to the interior, that the windlace clips too (fore/aft each door opening).
