Door seal question

Has anyone used the door seal Moss sells for the '67 Sprite and Midget? If so, can you offer any advice. My Sprite is to that point now but my local mechanic tells me it does not work well.

Presuming the door seal is the same as I used with mine (76) the common complaint is that they are too thick and that the door doesn't shut properly. I seem to recall tying the doors shut for a few days to compress them to fit.

Look here.... He has the right stuff, if ANYONE does... Not the usual MOS$ crap.

Thank you Bill! I finally ordered and received door seals and a replacement boot seal from MacGregor and everything fits perfectly. He is a little more expensive than Moss but they actually fit.
