A couple of months ago I saw a thread with the order of installation of parts in the door of a B. Couldn't find it. Any help?
Thanks
Rick

Rick, I'm sure some guys do it differently, but here's how I reinstall the hardware in a bare door. You might want to check and see if the felt bumpers are in the bottom of the door first.
First, install the new outer glass seal if needed.
Second, install the door latch assembly. I install the inside lever and rods last.
Third, install the vent window assembly with the nuts in place but loose. Don't attach the bottom track bolt yet.
Fourth, install the window track by the door latch, leaving it loose on the bottom.
Fifth, insert the crank assembly with it raised approximately an inch or two from the bottom most position. Lay it in the bottom of the door.
Now, slide the glass in the tracks from the top down leaving about four or five inches above the top of the door. Have someone hold it there while you insert the crank assembly ears in the lower window track. Now you can fit the crank assembly in the hole by raising or lowering the glass and temporarily turning the crank to make the bolt holes line up. Get one bolt in loose, turn the crank and the rest will line up. Attach the bottom bolts on the window guides. Adjust and tighten the vent frame. Install the inside latch lever and rods. You'll probably have to do a little "tweeking" on the window tracks to make it slide smoothly. I'm doing this from memory, so if I left anything out, someone else jump in. PJ
