Door rattle

We visited the Goodwood breakfast club on Sunday in the Healey, then moved on to a food festival being held at West Dean College. It was a great day for a drive but was marred by a constant rattle in the drivers door. I thought originally that it was the car flexing causing the door to chafe against the B post ( it is a bit tight there on my car) Then I realised that it was from inside the door. Fearing the worst, I removed the door cards when I got home, and found that the rear window channel was loose, the lug holding the bottom fixing had rusted through just at the small offset bend. I am currently removing the rust in preparation for welding it up but if that fails it is a new channel.

Bob
