Door panels

Thinking about replacing the interior door panels on my 77 B. Area around the window crank on the passenger door is ripped. Looked around for instuctions on the web on how to do this, but couldn't find anything. How difficult is this and are there any special tools needed? Presume the replacement door panel kits you can buy come with instructions? Any advice/instuctions would be much appreciated.

I've had my panels on and off a few times. And just replaced the interior on my 80 B with the Moss leather kits. It's a real easy job. The door pulls and window cranks are held on with screws. There is a 2 piece plastic trim piece around the pull to open the door. Each half slides up or down once you give it a little pry with a screw driver. The panel itself can be pulled right off. If it's too hard to do by hand, persuade it with a screw driver. If the doors have speakers, you will have to cut the openings in the new panels.

good luck.

Thanks very much for the help. Certainly sounds straight forward enough even for a novice like me! Will order my panels this weekend.

All the best,

Roy
