Door Latch 1972 TR6
Question on the door latch mechanism for the TR6.
The drivers side just quit working this morning and the door won't latch when shut. The little hook that latches on to the striker plate won't snap shut.
On the passenger side, when I push the little hook (as if closing the door), there are two distinct snaps, position one is partially closed and position two is all the way closed as if the door were shut tight.
I removed the balky latch and cleaned and lubed but still the same problem.
Does anyone have any idea if this can be repaired or rebuilt or if a replacement is available.
