Door Hinge Question

Are the door hinges on the big Healeys "handed"? And, are top and bottom different? Any markings to indicate?
Thanks
Dave

Dave,

According to the original parts list for my BN6, they list the door hinge as a single part number 14B5896, with a quantity per vehicle of 4, without any R/H or L/H designation.

I marked mine when I took them off. I did find some shims in places, also I've heard others talk about "shaving" some material off the hinges to get to fit correct. Also, unless your car is really better than most you should replace the hinge pins to tighten up the door.

Sorry to ruin your day
