After a wounderful drive in the wine country in the foothills of Northern California I broke the outside door handle where it screws onto the door. (too much wine or 44 year old metal fatigue) Since I am only replacing one side what is the quality (apparence) of the one Moss sell compaired to the original. Does anyone else have a high quality one?
Thanks.

Hi TH, If you are not in a hurry I would try to source a good used one as a replacement. I have not found aftermarket chrome pieces to be to my liking.--Fwiw-Keoke

th. i may have a pair of originals sittin round, lets just give my "business manager" keoke a chance to comment before we go any further on this subject. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Not in a hurry until May. I'll be out of the country uin April 20th. May is bussy with shows and drives as summer begins. So any one who has good original equipment let me hear from you. I only really need the left side. But will go for both if the price is right. you can reach me by PMs on this forum. Or at tahoehealey@hotmail.com
Thanks.

Tom at British Miles had a brand new, in the original box, never unrapped that he has had for 30 years from a BMC dealer he bought out. The cost was higher but will hold up and be a perfect match rather than the new replacements. Thanks for all the consideration. By the way, British Miles has tons of good, old and new original equipment parts for all LBCs. I have used them many times when no one else has anything.
