After driving my TR3 for 30 years and taking along riders who lift up on the door handle to open the door even after they've been told to push down have damaged the door where now the handle wants to have a slight upward position. Where the arm on the shaft hits the inner door frame has been worn down and wants to stick there. Now that I'm repainting the car it's a good time to fix. Anyone have a good fix for this?
I'm thinking of making up stickers to put on the door near the handle to remind the dinbats to push down. I should make a mint because every TR2/3 owners would buy a couple of spares! TIC
(TIC)= tongue in cheek
