TR4/4A Door glass assembly help please.

Should the door glass sit dead centre in the top of the door slot, or slightly off centre toward the outside ?

Its pretty much center. Install everthing, roll the window up and carefully shut the door. You want to adjust the glass to fit properly against the windshield frame. There is a stop in the bottom center of door that sets how far down the glass can go. Take it out and roll the glass down as far as it will go to give you more room to install the rubber and fuzzy seal. Let the glass find its own center.

I have refurbished my glass runner channels, pop riveting the original attachment brackets onto new channel.
However when reinstalling the channels I found that they are slightly off centre, so I may have to drill out the rivets and redo the attachment brackets so that the channels are dead centre.
