i have a 62 TR4 that slept for 30 years. i have (no kidding) had to chip out a lot of the old seals. i see that moss and trf sell lots of seals, some rather expensive by the foot. does anyone have any good alternatives?

Sumton,
I have 62 and 63 TR4's. I used seals from TRF. TRF has gone to some trouble to determine the most exact replacement on the parts. I do not like this for Concourse reasons but rather for best fit and utility. That being said the door seals for the TR4's vary depending on whether you have a surrey top. One of my cars came with TR6 door seals that were one piece and worked very well. Because of the surrey top on the car I changed them out to stock.
