Off camera he was said to be one of the nicest guys in the business. Sorry he's gone but glad he had a long life.

Sad to hear of his passing. My dad told me he hired Rickles back in the early 50’s to entertain at a Christmas party for the organization he was a member of.
I also saw him a couple of times perform live.

I did meet him after a show in Vegas.
