From what I can tell it there is nothing really holding it on but it just wont budge...it looks like the main supports inside the car run along it and maybe one of those welds are holding it on? I just don't want to leave anything treated so I only have to do it once!

In the picture, the far left set of holes is where the u, or rather square, bolt holds the leaf spring (1/4) to the chassis. You can kind of see the start to the rear wheelwell on the left side of the picture.
 
They are welded to the floor. The floor under those plates may or may not have to be replaced. That area of the floor many times rusts out because it traps road grim between it and the spring. Water coming down from the area of the B post also can rust the area, just to the outside.

While it may be welded to the floor, it is important to put the 4 bolts in the holes to the right side of the picture. My first BE was really squirrelly in the turns...lots of oversteer...put the 4 bolts on a side on the spring plate, and it tightened right up.
