Does anyone produce an entire BT7 chassis/frame?

I called Moss and they only have the full frame and the upper chassis pieces separately... I'm looking for the entire piece either new or a very nice condition used one.

You can also get one from Kilmartin of OZ through David Nock at British Car Specialists in CA. Like the Jules chassis, will not be cheap but very, very good !
 
After driving for a few weeks now on an uprated replacement chassis I can only say that it is well worth the expense. There is no rattling or shaking and it feels very solid which is far better than I had expected given all the comments about scuttle shake and so on. I have only driven one other Healey which belongs to a list member here and it drove just how I'd expect an original 50 year old car should.

I recently cut up and scrapped the original chassis and was surprised to find how solid it actually was- the main rails had no real rust issue inside apart from a lot of accumulated road dust. The outriggers were all paper thin at the lowest points as were the inner rocker/sills. There was however a lot of bodgy repairs to stress cracked and externally damaged areas plus a heap of unrepaired cracks. It was just worn out and time for retirement.

the improvements I ordered with the chassis were the hidden reinforcing plates along the main rails and the 'rally' front suspension and engine mount reinforcements as the majority of stress cracks were around these areas. the only oddities of fitting the new chassis were that the seat belt mounts welded to the inner frame rails don't suit early cars without factory fitted belt mounts and the rear spring hanger bushes had distorted from being welded in. Both minor issues which were easily resolved.

Are you looking for just the chassis or the chassis and the upper structure or commonly referred to as the super structure?
Jule Enterprises provided the chassis itself for $3250.00 or we supply a rebuilt assembly with a new Jule chassis as described on our web page for $8000.00. We not only manufacture the chassis but we also install it ensuring panel fit and provide a guarantee for 5 years. It has a parts value of $6000.00 and labour of $2000.00, maybe not cheap but certainly reasonable.
