How is the top of the windshield motor gear box finished. Might be cad plated or ???

In any case does anyone know of someplace that refinishes them the flat plate and the electrical connection dome.:friendly_wink:

I have a yet to be installed NOS DR2 dated 1961. The flat plate is very shiny. The doom appears to be plated with something and is a bit duller.
 
Nice if you have one, grats. Mine is OK, works fine, just needs a redo and I thought maybe i would have it plated, not chrome though.
