ahh ha.. i found it, on the back of the recliner. BTW i lost the same part you are looking for, i adjusted the wire into a hook and it works fine.....

Funny... I was thinking of doing the same thing. At this point, if a concors judge saw my car, he would be compelled to kick my butt. So why not!
Glad you found the remote. I was gonna offer to fly my wife up there so she could find it for you. She always manages to find ours when I loose it.
