Knowing you will have an extra hole in the dash - everything else should fit.

Actually, the fit will be a little off - the difference will be in the switch plinth area. For a TR4, the cut into the dash is a little deeper, for the 4A the cut is much shallower and I think a little wider.
There is a seller on ebay who shows them as interchangeable - but with that difference on the bottom they are not the same.
