Howard "Doc" Weiss has passed away. He was 60 and leaves a wife and kids.
If any of you have raced at the PVGP, Summit Point, Pocono or other eastern tracks, you may have seen him. He was a dedicated flagger and race volunteer. The kind of guy we racers can't exist without.
He would be hard to miss due to his big, checkered hat and "crazy" thumb.
I've chatted with him a number of times. Nice man; he will be missed.
RIP, Doc
