Doc, I dont know if you solved the cable length situation but, I just found the cable off of my 72 parts car which had a non OD tranny and the cable is 50 3/4 inches long. It had an angle drive on the tranny. The cable went over the tranny and bell housing, up through the tunnel and through a hole up and behind the exhaust manifold straight in to the spedo. PJ
