I was going through some of my old racing stuff.
I kept some old newspapers.
The ad was for a concert in 1986,in Portland,Oregon,
July 26,1986.How times have changed!

sorry to spoil things for ya but he played for free here in key west just last week! one more reason to move to key west...

I heard about that. Time was he'd just show up and play in a local pub here,too. Gone are those days.

I think I paid $10 a ticket to see him in Pittsburgh and Cleveland in '77... the Pittsburgh show was canceled due to LACK of sales so we beat feet to Cleveland. Half filled the old Cleveland Theater. MIGHT have been 100 people there. sheesh.

Wow. He should get a commission from the tourist development council down here. So many people walk around town with foam parrot head hats and funny shirts.
