I hope not... mine did... it was a major pain in the butt to get that wishbone and it's twin off the suspension... but it's done now /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif No more squeaky bed while driving down the road and at interestions! YAY!!! I also installed an anti-sway bar while I was under the car... can't wait to try it out... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif Tomorrow the rear end!

How does the trunnion look? With that much wear the trunnions could well be damaged, too. Glad you caught it before you lost the whole darn car! I don't know how long you can drive a car with the wishbones wearing like that but there must be a limit. Was the steering sloppy, too?

yeah... it was a little sloppy... it didn't have any consistant pull to any direction... it would sometimes pull slightly to one side and then slightly to the other after hitting a bump... I don't know how it handles now though. I haven't driven it yet. I'll take her for a spin after I change the bushes on the rear tomorrow.

The trunion looked ok... but I'd still feel better if I had gotten those assemblies to replace too.

Speaking of wishbones, I see moss and others offer negative camber wishbones to help improve steering and cornering, my question is how does this effect tire wear? Or are they strictly a racing application? Thanks, MACK

Yikes! That's pretty worn!

Mack, I haven't personally tried the negative camber ones, but I would imagine they would do a number on your tires. I would think you would only want them if you autocrossed or raced your MG.

Acording to Brit-Tek Ltd "They will really make your front end stick, but it will increase the wear on the tires." I put 72 MGB disk breaks on my 51 TD and using the TD shocks I now have a negative camber. I plan on changing the shocks to the MGBs because the arms are a little longer, I hope that I get a proper camber.
