Our wives I mean. If you think the lady of the house is just a cook to feed your fat belly, or the one who must wash your dirty clothes and bow down to your every whim, well buddy, your in for a rude awakening if she gets sick and you have to do her jobs for two, three weeks or more! My wife just came home from the hospital after a serious operation and will be recovering for at least three to four weeks. In the mean time I have to do her everyday chores. I never knew a woman did so much in her every day routine! I am exhausted by 11 o'clock, (In the morning), she usually goes to 11 o'clock at night!!!!!! Cook the food, wash the clothes, vacuum the house, answer the phone, shop for groceries, take care of the puppies and many outside gardening chores, including cutting three acres of grass, which to her is relaxing! My hat is off to all those ladies out there! Just a house wife, took on a whole new meaning in this house hold! Even though it's rare, I'll never complain again.

Hey Guest!

for your appreciation of us 'wives.' I am blessed as husband Doug is very helpful. I handle everything on the days he is on his duty tour but when he comes home for his 7 day respite, he takes on the early morning chores including feeding the dog, cats, birds, vacuuming (a daily ritual because of the pets) and usually takes his mom to do her shopping, church and hairdresser's. I get extra time to do those things that I can't find the time to do when he's on duty. Shall I also add the honey-do list of those things that I can't do. Fix bedroom closet door, finish detail on tiling, etc. are already on his list.
