the duct heater motor to heater housing from Moss (Part # 363-390). It does not fit and looks like a peice of plastic sewer pipe. There is no way it is big enough in diameter.

You mean on the Ashley site?

The orginal was as I remember a wire inside a kind of card board stuff rather smooth on the outside.

good catch! I was just getting ready to order one. I'd be interested to know if you find a good alternative.

It is really awful, fit and looks.

I can do better with an oatmeal box and some duct tape and a black rattle can.

But, someone must have real ones.

ditto for the heater hoses that run from the windshield vents to the engine well (R & L sides). Really awful. Does not even look close to the ones that are original. I've already returned mine.

yep, that's it. Shame to have to go to england for that.

isnt AH SPares in the UK?

I bought one of these from Ashley Hinton a few months ago along with several other items. I didn't open the duct package until this morning. What a disappointment!!! I could have bought about the same thing (black plastic drain pipe)at Home Depot for less that a dollar. First time I've ever been disappointed by anything from them.

so is it ah spares? i remember long ago replacing this hose and getting the basic dryer version crap. i looked at the ah spares site and could not get a visual on what they sold.

Jack

Is the one you bought from Moss like the one listed on ebay? Item Number 140060851464

Think that one on ebay is the real thing.

The stuff I got was sewer pipe plastic.

now are we all going to fight over it or do we have a proven supplier. i'll just buy mine now even though i won't need it for awhile.

Go for it fred, I got another real one now. someone offered and I could not refuse.

I think AH Spares sells the real ones.

maybe i'll contact ah spares and talk with them first. i am a little drained chasing ebay parts right now.
