DIY Rag Top?

I just wondered if anyone has made a soft top themselves – I just want to get an iea of how difficult it is. The frame is nearly done, the decision is whether to make the cloth bit myself or have to pay someone to do it. (Before you ask, no I can’t buy a ready made one, the car’s a one off).

Thanks

Can you locate a good "trim shop" that does pleasure boat upholsery and canvas tops?

"Over here" (US, Florida) these guys are quite skilled at one-off fitting and less expensive than the automotive fellas.

Just a thought.
