It was a perfect day for a car show. Sunshine with temps in the high '70s. Lots of wonderful cars at yesterday's Dixon All British show. I had to leave early, but I hear through the grapevine that Roger Conte took a first place for his stunning '64 BJ8. Congrats Roger - well deserved!
There was an excellent turnout of beautiful Healeys - numerous very high level restorations. It was quite a competitive group and judging (non-concours) wasn't at all easy. It was great seeing a number of Forum members there too.
Best,

Randy

I had the camera with me but failed to take it out of its case. No pics from me I'm afraid. Maybe someone else took some.

I know,

I have a lot of nerve asking for pictures from anyone when I
left the camera at home the day of our show !

I saw Kenny Johnson's early 3000 for the first time at Dixon. It is very nice. Well done Kenny.

"Randy, where's the pictures ?"

Yhea what's up with that Randy, lol.
I took only one picture myself. Being it's all about me, it was of my car of course.

Forgive the sun in my eyes, wrong setting on the camera, took with my left hand, over or under exposed, and any other excuses I can think up for my bad picture taking.

Like a proud dad, here's a photo I took at the show.
Ka-chow !

PS. it was great meeting and talking to the other Healey owners. Shout out to TH! And of course the general Healey talk with anyone who wanted to talk Healeys.

The show was great as usual. Some good stuff in the swap meet too. My wife and I took some pictures we will be looking at soon. Anything good will be posted (if I can figure out how). I was parked next to Randy, who was parked next to Roger (twin colors). As you can guess the quality went down as it moved in my direction. All the Healeys were absolutly beautiful and it was hard to say one is better than the next. 250 LBCs and 20 to 25 big Healeys.
I got to pump Norm Knock for a lot of valuable info. Nice day. I would have like to meet you, Hangtown but I didn't know you were there. Which model and color was yours? I'll look at my photos.

No Healey for me at Dixon. I brought the blue Jensen Interceptor.
