Anyone know where to get these? I've tried all of the locals, but no luck so far. I don't think that the square nut will be an issue, just the slotted cap screw with the shoulder.

I know that you're hiding the supplier somewhere, so give the secret up...
 
Nobody on this forum has ever lost or broke one of those screws, so there has been no need to purchase any. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/devilgrin.gif

Actually, if you want to stay as OE as possible, your best bet might be to just purchase some flanged hex head screws and slot it yourself. One of those pneumatic cut-off wheels would work just nice.

I haven't broken any (yet), but I have a few spares that look a bit ratty and wanted to replace them with new. I'll try MSE and a few others. The key will be getting the oversize hex head, with the slot. Preferably in stainless.
 
Oh man - here Paul is worried that he has some slight ratty looking distributor clamp bolts and I'm trying to just make sure that the TR6 as vaguely the same shade of purple fenders.

I saw those, but they're not quite right. These are 1/4 X 28 1 3/4" length, 1 1/8" shoulder, with 7/16" head. I also want the square nut in matching stainless steel.

Yeah, I know, I know, I'm a fussy PITA. I've got my wife telling me that all of the time, need it or not.
 
I might be able to get the Square nut in stainless but it will require a trip into Seattle (the big city). Don't know when I will be in that particular area.

You could also go for a stainless AN bolt. An AN4C-16 would get you a shoulder of 1 3/16", and an overall length of 1 21/32". A -15 has a 1 1/16" shoulder and is 1 17/32" long.
Less than a buck apiece.

As soon as I get the house packed up and ready for the painters to come in Thursday, I'll be working on the Ratco stainless steel throttle cable page.
