That should be Door, not Diir. Apparently no way to edit the title or to delete the post.

How is the polished aluminum door finisher attached to the body?
This is the short vertical piece that runs the width of the door, right below the door at the interior sill.

Don't know if it's correct, but mine has three screws that screw into the side of the sill on the inside.
