Hello,
One of the changes/improvements I would like to make to my TR250 is the addition of an overdrive.
I am researching sources at the moment and am looking on ebay and other sites.
Realising that Laycock-DeNormanville made OD's for several different car manufacturers, I was wondering what the degree of interchangability was (assuming there is some) between these units and how much effort would be involved in converting for use on a TR.
One OD that seems to be mentioned a lot on ebay listings is the Volvo, although it would seem to need modifications to the driveshaft due to the longer flange.
Does anyone have any suggestions for which OD's could be used in a TR without major modification?
Cheers,
Jim.
PS Of course, if someone has an OD that is using up valuable shelf space I would be happy to take it off their hands.
