I'm gonna give away one of Horsemits' "design by necessity" tricks here:
Acquire a 1-quart "Ziplock" bag, the cap, screw-on bottle top and the first 1.5" off the top on the plastic bottle of gear oil (quart size). You will take a bottom corner of the bag, hold the screw-on nozzle on the outside corner, thread the bottle "neck" into the cap from the inside of the bag... think "pastry bag" here... once it's screwed on snugly, poke the center to open it up, put the cap on the nozzle and fill the bag half way with the required lube and zip closed. Best if you allow as little air as possible. Dive under the car, and with the cap off, squeeze it into the filler hole. You can meter how much oil you're adding by the amount you put in the bag. Toss it when finished, it takes minutes to fab up a new one.
Thank Herself for the nifty solution to a PITA job. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
