Differences between Triumph 2500 sedan and TR4A-6 IRS diffs.
The pinions have different splines and pinion input flanges.
Simplifying....can the sedan diff be fitted to the 4A. Is it just a matter of removing the splined sleeve from the 2500 pinion and fitting the 4A input flange.

I'm not really sure of your question... If it has different spline how could you connect it?

I now have the required info.
Remove the quill drive shaft from the sedan box...remove the splined gear [slides onto the common pinion shaft] that drives the quill shaft from the pinion shaft...fit the TR pinion drive flange together with the correct bearings and seal.
