DGV throttle linkage help needed

Hi all,

I have a DGV to install. The throttle linkage is as found on the exploded diagram below: essentially a C-shaped metal piece.

Exploded view: Weber DGV

Can I use it as-is? Do I need a 'fan' type throttle linkage, as found on the Redline site?

Redline cable install

The B&W photo on the Redline page shows the C-shaped piece *and* a fan-shaped throttle plate. Do I use both?!?

TIA,
Duncan

Cant tell whats going on from that diagram but I had my engine out tonight heres a closeup of my set-up
Some of it is a bit of fabrication but works great

Yep- that's how I did mine, but I used that wheel throttle linkage that came with my kit. I ran the spring over the cable for a cleaner look and it works fine.

I had to modify my throttle cable by taking about an inch and a half off the sheathing as I could not get enough cable to the throttle linkage.

Don't you have the linkage on the opposite way?
