One of my favorite movies filmed in my home state, Animal House is a true classic. I had to visit a job site today past the rual town of Dexter, home of the "Dexter Lake Club." Ottis Day and the Nights haven't played there for a while.

"May we dance with yo dates?" I read the book Animal House was partly based on. Chris Miller's experiences at Dartmouth. I once stayed overnight at a Dartmouth fraternity. Guy whose room it was supposedly went home for the weekend. His fireplace was piled high with empty beer cans. At 3 am, he burst into the room, demanding WTF I was doing in his bed. I told him to calm down and how I got there. He cooled off and told me he had a date at Skidmore College, some miles away, and let me stay there. AH and Airplane along with the Marx Brothers are my all-time favorite comedies. I haven't seen a new funny movie in years. Got some laughs with Borat and Bruno.

"Guess what I am? A Zit! Get it?"

And my wife's favorite - not that I give her ANY occasion to use it: "I think I’m in love with a retard."

...I think I know what I am doing tonight!!

Showed this thread to my wife, including the clip. We both broke up. I've seen this movie at least a dozen times and still laugh out loud. Not that different from my fraternity days in college.
