While we were at the Pittsburgh Vintage GP, we had a nice little Dellow paddocked across from us.

These were often used for English-style auto trials in the early 50s (it still goes on over there, but I doubt they use Dellows these days).

Anyway, lovely little car. Pretty sure it has an English Ford flathead four in it:

You're right about the engine. Much of the suspension and running gear is Ford 8 or 10 too.
 
I've only ever seen one before. That was on Gordon Road in Falls Church Va, where Group 44 used to be. A friend was running a shop next door and I bought a 59 Mercedes 220 from him. The Dellow was definitely small, Ford mechanicals. I couldn't imagine anyone actually buying and driving one in America at the time because it was so small. It was after all something like 1973.
