Got an email today from the shipper of my MGB saying the the truck heading my way has been postponed, with no immediate reschedule date for either the pickup or delivery. Bummer.

Hmmmm.... so maybe payment to said shipper can be delayed likewise - with no immediate date certain?

Payment isn't due until car is delivered (I pay the driver), so no issues there. I'm hoping I'll have a new set of dates in a day or so, otherwise I'll give them a call for further details. I do understand delays in shipping, I just got my hopes up from their initial set of plans.

Car is still at the seller's house, so at least it's not lost in transit somewhere. I'll still sleep easier once it's here, though. Heck, I'll even be more relaxed once it's through customs. :smile:
 
Maybe, if they can't get you a date. Time for a new shipper
 
I expect I'll have more info on Wednesday from them, otherwise I'll give a call. They've been good to work with so far, so I'm not concerned. Just want my car.

No, it's not DAS.

The company doing my shipping hasn't picked up the car yet. I'm not the least bit worried, just a little bit disappointed that I won't have the car this weekend, that's all.

If I do get one of those tracking sites, I'll be good and only check once an hour.
