As you may know,I bought a '74 Midget on May 1st,& have been getting
it slowly back to road condition.
Well,a friend stopped by a few days ago,& wants to sell his Dad's '68 MGB.
I went & looked at it yesterday. His Dad bought it here in Eureka, new,in '68.It's
always been garage kept since then. It's been parked since 1998.
The bad: While in the garage, with a battery charger going,a fire started, causing
damage to the interior. The windshields Black,& cracked, the dash & door panels
are toast. There is a little bit of suface rust behind the interior,& the top part of the
trunk lid.The trunk & engine compartment are unscathed.
The car was originally Pale Primrose Yellow, but paintrd BRG some time ago.
The price he's asking is so cheap I can't help thinking about it.It also doesn't have to
moved right away,& is in a garage.
I can't help but think about buying it.I know that I'd have to sell the Midget, but
I know I could get at least what I have into it.
What to do,what to do....... &,oh,I have pictures,if someone wants to post them
for me.
