Daytime Running Lights

Daytime running lights are at 1/2 power.Simplest way to do it would be to put in a relay that is powered when the ignition is turned on.I believe you can use a resistor on this line. This then will turn on the headlights only.I have this on my 62 but I used it full time for the running lights. The headlight switch is on this relay so I never forget to turn off my lights.
