A good friend of mine took this video on one of the first voyages in the "almost" completed Bugeye I just finished for my daughter. It is now sporting it's true license plate.
L8D BUG (Ladybug) as the car is finished in red and black.
Those are the world's ONLY red downflow radiator hoses.

Awesome job! Um if its for your daughter, why isnt SHE driving it LOL!
Looks great!

Hi There from the Pocono Mtns of PA.

"Nice Ride".

I too was wondering why your daughter is`nt driving "Her" car?

Hopefully your daughter is about 5yrs old & Your just waiting for her to reach driving age.

Best Wishes,

Russ

You guys look like a couple of Brits riding around in the rain with the top down. Engine sounds great.

Another good one, Frank! How many Spridget restorations does this make now?

Frank,

We all wish our engines sounded as good. Looks fabulous!!!!

Wow, Frank!! Way to go!!!! Looks great!

That's one fine looking Bugeye!! Looks like with all the "right" mods too!! Nice job!!

I was still shaking out the bugs when Linda stopped over and shot the video.
Now it's my daughter's, she has her tag L8D BUG and the only time I can drive it is when she hears a strange noise. She is 26, now I have 4 Sprites in my family of 4 and I even have the optional child's seat for my soon to be born grandchild.
Yes I just gave the seat to my daughter in law as a shower gift because she has been searching in vain for a baby seat not made in china. So now she has one for her Sprite  Seat belts? I could probably make something to hold that child seat to the driveshaft tunnel. I wonder if the modern child safty laws would allow THAT seat to be grandfathered in ?

Nice Frank.
