Located in Everett Washington
80 Datsun 210
Blown HG
Has 1.4 liter A14 motor that needs a new head gasket
Should Have correct 5 speed for Spridgets
Get the car, repair the HG, swap in a 4 speed then sell the car and keep the 5 speed. Just a bit of Sweat Equity.

Didnt last long did it, so I guess you snagged it eh Bill?

Something else for him to pack and take to San Diego.

It has a catalytic converter that I am going to put on my blue one so that I can take THAT one to Cal and maybe pass smog there.

You do know they sell those over the counter, right? :confuse:

Bill, it's time to admit you have a problem.

Perhaps you should seek out a support group. :yesnod:

This is DEFINATLY not the place to get advice NOT to buy another car.

I've been over and seen his garage recently, he's definitely got less stuff now than he did a couple months ago so as long as he keeps up that trend I think he's doing OK.

If I know Bill this car will be for sale again soon with a 4 speed transmission and a new head gasket.
A basic daily driver for someone who needs cheap transportation.

See, Bill is doing the public a great service - he should be commended for his altruistic endeavors.

Not likely Eric, but I have come to a decision on the "new" Datsun wagon-
There is really not much left of the interior and think that the only good use for this would be a "24 Hour of Lemons" car.
Who wants a 1980 Datsun 210 wagon (pretty cheap really) to go racing? Chris Rae needs some competetion for "King Henry the Fat"!!

Two things I think I know about racing:

1. It's really really fun!
2. At any level it's really really expensive.

Well my first guess would be #2 above...

My son loves old datsun wagon's. Too bad you're so far away. At least to go after, what I imagine is, an old ratty wagon. Does the body look like most do Bill??

Kurt.

This thing is surprisingly rust free! I was amazed.
The outside looks pretty good but the interior (soft pieces) is either trashed or missing.
Bill

Bill,

You might want to post it on the Ratsun.net sight -
there's always people looking for those.
Are you coming through Eureka on your way to S.CA?

No- I take 5 all of the way.
Would like to meet you sometime but probably not during the move.

I see you have the aggressive form of the disease. Careful folks, lest he infect you too. He almost got me w/ the one in La. Luckily, my wife has the antidote.

DON'T tell her about this place, next thing you know all our Wives / Significant Others will have the cure and when that happens it's all over man, game over man!
