Datsun 5 speed bronze shifter bushings

Fellow Spridgeteers, I took a chance on these and with some very minor sanding, they fit the 210 series 5speeds (at least mine!)

Here is the ebay item # from my purchase: (110885626150)
You can see they are described to fit the following models:
1971-1973 B110s,

1974-1978 B210s,

1977-1980 810s,

1973-1979 620 pickups,

1980-1985 720 pickups,

1977-1983 200sx,

1969-1973 patrol trucks.

Hmm, none are the car my trans came from. But I thought, for $9.99..why not try them? Well, they fit, but they needed the outer part shaved down to fit. I used 220 grit on a sanding pad/drill. The brass is soft enough that it didn't take long to get them to where they fit.
Just thought I would pass along. I had heard the OEM plastic version can be hard to come by in some places..

This guy doesn't have any listed at the moment, but I'm guessing if you contact him, he'll get a set done/listed.

I think that those were sold as door hinge bushings but with a little bit of modification it looks like they fit fine.

When you get around to using these, you'll have to report on vibration/noise transfer from the gearbox to the shifter. I don't have any problem getting the nylon ones, I'm just curious.

I dont know about door bushings, Bill. He listed them as shifter bushings.
Yeah, we'll see about noise etc. I'll try to remember to post in my "vroom post"..when that finally happens!
